AUDIO/VIDEO TECHNICIANS: A team who set up and monitor the sound for music activities and/or project presentations up on the overhead screen.
BUILDING AND GROUNDS MINISTRY: This group of volunteers coordinate workdays, do general maintenance, and work to beautify the church facility and grounds.
CHILDEN’S CHOIR: The musical group consisting of older preschoolers-sixth grade that practice during the week to sing on Sundays and community events.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH: This ministry provides Biblical instruction to our children during the worship service.
CHOIR: A vocal group that participates in the worship services as well as special musical presentations.
COLLEGE AREA PREGNANCY SERVICES: This group volunteers at the Crisis Pregnancy Center here in the college area, that seeks to provide an alternative to mothers who do not want abortion by meeting various needs like temporary housing, medical care, or helping with adoption procedures.
DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY: This is a group of trained disciples who have made a commitment to meet one-on-one with anyone that has a desire to grow deeper in their walk with the Lord.
EARLY BIRD: This person or crew arrives early each Sunday morning to unlock all of the doors and set up for Sunday Morning.
EDUCATION MINISTRY: This group coordinates all of the education activities of the church including: Recruiting and training teachers, previewing and ordering material, and providing oversight for all of our educational activities.
EVANGELIMS/MISSIONS MINISTRY: This group coordinates the evangelistic ministries of the church. They also set and promote the mission offerings and various mission opportunities.
FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY: This group plans and coordinates all of the church fellowship activities.
MISSIONS: Short-term mission teams that participate in projects around the world that are designed to introduce various aspects of foreign missions and missionaries to team members. These trips vary in length from 10 days to 3 weeks.
MONEY COUNTERS: This team takes care of counting, sorting, and recording all of the offerings from the weekend. They work together in the church office on Monday mornings.
NURSERY: An opportunity to minister to the youngest members of our congregation by providing loving childcare during the worship services and special events.
PRAISE BAND: This group has opportunity for musicians to use their talent in both worship services, and community activities.
PRAYER: The team that prays for and follows up on prayer requests that come to the church.
REFRESHMENT CREW: This group sets up the refreshments each Sunday morning for the fellowship time between Sunday School and Worship.
SPANISH MINISTRY: This group works with our Spanish Pastor to plan and coordinate all of the activities for the Spanish Ministry.
STUDENTS A team of people that helps with regular activities for Jr. High and Sr. High students. This team helps with food, coordinating socials, welcoming, leading or assisting with our youth ministry.
STUFFERS: This team volunteers in the church office on Fridays. Stuffers work to place an outline of the sermon in each bulletin before the worship service.
SUNDAY INFORMATION GUIDES: This ministry helps people who visit the church by assisting people to the right Bible Study Class on Sunday morning.
SUNDAY SCHOOL – ADULTS: Bible classes that encourage Christian growth and maturity through study, fellowship, and outreach.
SUNDAY SCHOOL – ELEMENTARY: Bible learning classes of 1st-6th grades that include games, discussions of Bible stories and characters with applications to practical living.
SUNDAY SCHOOL – PRESCHOOL: Classes that provide Christian principles for children from newborns to kindergartners.
SUNDAY SCHOOL – YOUTH: Classes designed to help the young people in our church grow and mature in their faith.
TAPE MINISTRY: This ministry provides either those who miss a weekend, or someone who lives out of the area a chance to get the service by coordinating and producing all the DVD’s.
TRUNK OR TREAT: This ministry is a community outreach event that takes place on Halloween which provides families a safe place for fun during this time.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: Our annual summertime ministry for our children. This ministry is usually held for one week in the summer and consists of approximately 3 hours per evening of Bible teaching, games, crafts, and mission activities for the kids.
WORSHIP GREETER: The welcoming team that warmly greets everyone who is on their way to the worship service with a handshake and a smile. These people give first impressions of friendliness, acceptance, and love to members, attenders, and visitors.
WORSHIP USHER: The welcoming team that assists people into the worship service by handing out bulletins, overseeing the service in general, and assisting people where needed.
WORSHIP MINISTRY: This group works with the worship leader to plan and coordinate special worship events.
